Headline poster finished design

It was a lot of fun creating the artwork for the Urban Outfitters screen print brief, although my initial design didn't get chosen for the exhibition i re-worked my design to include type that had more personality and reflected the headline more. I am pleased with the final version. Although i didn't get chance to screen print the work with commitments on other briefs, i still enjoyed the challenge of this brief working on such a short timescale of two days.

More development for the headline i chose - Horn to be wild. I wanted the designs to be fun and playful because the storyline to the headline was pretty amusing.

Horn to be wild - Headline brief

This is the start of my designs for an Urban Outfitters competition brief called Headline. To design a piece for a screen print exhibition based on a headline or news story.

The headline these designs relate to is, Horn To Be Wild. About an OAP who took his motorised scooter onto a busy dual carriage way to test out his horn, he was traveling 8mph so build up a mighty tail back!!!
