Just put my final poster design on there, its nice to look through the community of designers on this website, there are some really talented people out there.

Sci Fi banner research

For the main banner for the exhibition which will be 1.5m high and 5m wide, i am using the planetary positions for the time and date of the exhibition. I think this is a strong concept that will link with the posters. For the visual i will do the astrological way of mapping out the planetary positions using the astrological symbols rather than just circles. I feel this will make more of a whole feel for the banner rather than just having it link strongly to the alien poster. I will also keep to the same style background and font etc to create consistency with previous materials for the exhibition.

Anxiety booklet Final Cover designs

Here are the final cover designs for teh handbook for sufferers of phobias. The A5 booklet includes a smaller A6 booklet which is a Family / Friend handbook.

Sci-Fi Leaflet cover designs...

Developing the Sci Fi leaflet designs for the British Library exhibition. I prefer the designs with more black background at the moment. I also think keeping the logo as a smaller feature at the corner works better than trying to use too many elements from the logo in the main cover design as well as a smaller logo. I think it clutters the page using both and they fight for attention.

Final Sci Fi Posters

Here are the final designs for the Sci Fi posters all together. Nice set. I'm pleased with them and can't wait to put them into context along with the rest of the material i am designing for the exhibition.

Robot poster designs

Here are the Robot poster idea developed. The concept focuses on the Mars Exploration Robot, Spirit and the poster shows a map of the position of the robot on Mars at a particular time. It is situated on the edge of a crater. The style of the poster follows closely to the infographic of the Alien poster so i can create a set of posters that work beside each other but each one has a concept linked to their own element of the logo ... Utopia Aliens & Robots.

Robot research

More Robot research. Heading in the direction of blue prints and Exploration space robots, used by Nasa. I think looking further into this and trying to find an event happening or happened would link well with the first poster - Aliens.

Poster sci fi - Alien final...

Final version of the Alien poster in teh series for the Sci fi: Utopias, Aliens and Robots exhibition.

This is showing the concept that Alines will return to Earth at this rare planetary alignment in 2012.

Here is a bit of my research into an idea for the robot poster. I wanted to keep the circle like in the Alien poster i have produced. The idea is to use Leonardo's man as the basis for a robot design.
